I stopped by a place called Avila, CA yesterday on my way home from work. Something I like to treat myself to every now & then. making tostado
One of my favorite things to do is make tostado. Que es tostado you say? It is a wonderful little popcorn treat from Ecuador. Basically it is ancient Incan corn kernels roasted in olive oil and seasoned with green onions and salt. It is also our signature popcorn treat for Ciinema e Vino.
